sleeveless in the winter

It may be on the verge of freezing in many places across the country right now, but if you’re like me, you have multiple sleeveless tops on rotation in your closet year round. No matter how cold it gets, I always make sure to have a cute cami/tank/shell on under whatever I’m wearing (whether it be a blazer, sweater, or jacket). Something I absolutely loathe is being hot inside restaurants, bars, stores. Underneath all the heavy clothing, I always always layer, starting with an adorable sleeveless top. Below are some of my current favorites.

Styling the Austin Small Flap Bag

I love cross body bags. There is something to be said about being ‘hands free’ when out and about. While this bag is certainly small, you can still fit the essentials in it. I love this saddle color, and I think it speaks perfectly to Fall. I would wear the Austin Small Flap Bag with jeans, a tee, a blazer, a pair of flat riding boots, simple jewels, and a fabulous fedora on a chilly Sunday afternoon. I would also put this classic bag with a light blouse tucked into a full wool skirt, tights, booties, and some fun accessories for dinner out with friends or a date night. If you love this bag but want a darker color, it also comes in black and brown. It’s such a great, timeless style, and it’s just perfect for the season.

Styling the Priscilla Top Handle Cross Body Bag

What I love most about this bag is the structure. As much as I love slouchier bags and bags that don’t have such a defined shape, there is something I truly adore about a classic, structured style. The color of this bag is perfect year-round, as it’s not too dark and not too light. It’s a fabulous neutral that could go with almost anything. I feel it is such an ideal bag for work. Style it with a beautiful dark leather pencil skirt, nice cream colored blouse, a dark pair of colorful pumps, and some fairly simple jewelry and you’re ready for 9-5. I think it works just as well as a weekend bag (as it also turns into a cross body bag). Jeans, button down, ballet flats, and sunnies, and off to explore the city you go. The versatility of this bag is spot on, and I’d like to add this to my collection immediately.
