Even though I am guilty of being on my phone more than I’d like to admit, and one would think all my plans and appointments would be within my iPhone calendar, I actually like pen and paper more than you can imagine. There is something about writing down your notes, to-do’s, and plans. I know many people would disagree with me because, well hello, it’s 2013. However, it’s safe to say I’ll be putting that pen (or pencil) to paper…forever. With that being said, let’s talk organization.
Make sure to have a fabulous notepad on your desk at all times to write down lists and notes throughout the day. File folders to coordinate with your desk/office are a must. A quality planner is what will really keep you on track (and if you only use your phone calendar, I highly recommend using Evernote, as well). A journal is also an item I think is necessary to have with you at all times because you never know when you’ll need to jot something down (for me…constantly). Here’s to organizing in 2013!

1. Brittany Fuson Notepads (also featured in my Oklahoma Magazine column)
2. The Container Store File Folders (I own these exact ones and I love them)
3. Erin Condren Planner (I own an Erin Condren planner and am fully obsessed with it)
