a green thumb

One of my absolute favorite colors to wear is green. Not so much neon green, but pretty much any other shade I adore. I think it is a color you can wear year round, and I tend to find myself in it quite often. If someone were to ask me my favorite color, in general, it is without a doubt purple, but if someone were to ask me my favorite color to wear, green is most certainly towards the very top of that list.

new kinds of kicks

As you’ve previously read here, I think sneakers have really changed their ways. They are no longer boring and dreadful to wear outside of the gym; they are colorful, fashionable, and quite chic. Since January (when I wrote that post), I’ve come across even more pairs that I can’t help but fall in love with.

I am so excited that I am The Chic Sheet’s newest guest blogger, and my first post went up yesterday. For those who haven’t gotten a chance to see it, please click here to read. Enjoy and have a great weekend.

not your average sneakers

Now, I was never a big sneaker fan. I always went by the notion that sneakers should only be worn if working out or doing some sort of physical activity (and I still believe that’s true). However, there are a few types that I think are perfectly fine to wear out and about (and by ‘out and about’ I mean a casual Saturday walking around the city, not to a nice dinner). And, of course, with an appropriate outfit (skinny jeans, casual tee, maybe some layering, cute scarf, accessories…). The below styles give a different meaning to ‘sneakers.’
