Neutral-Nails

As you know, I talk about color all the time. I absolutely love color. However, lately I’ve been into neutral nails. I love nail art, I love accent nails, I love bold and beautiful colors, but more recently I’ve been craving neutral shades. I think there is something so elegant about a neutral nail. You can always jazz up the neutrals if you feel the need, and if not, you can never go wrong with a simple manicure.

black & red

I love the simplicity and elegance of black and red. As I’ve mentioned time and time again, I do love nothing more than all sorts of color. However, when off to a formal event, as I was last night, black (and red) tend to win (see previous post here). I used to not think I could pull off bright red lips with red nails, but I forced myself to try about a year or so ago. It took some getting used to (I think it still scares my boyfriend a bit), but I absolutely love it. I don’t do it all the time, but when I do, it makes me feel extra special. I know it seems a bit daunting, but I urge you to give it a try. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Have a fabulous weekend.
