Popping Up

I’ve always loved entertaining. Whether it’s a birthday party, a dinner party, or just a casual night of wine and cheese with friends, entertaining and being a hostess have always been favorite pastimes of mine. I recently mentioned how I’m now working with Chloe + Isabel, and this past weekend I hosted my first pop up shop. It was a fun afternoon of fabulous jewelry and friends (I also sold my FPTP greeting cards at the event). I wanted to share some pictures with you from the day, and I hope you all enjoy.

appealing appetizers

When it comes to entertaining, I tend to think appetizers trump entrees. Small bites that are easy to pick up and eat quickly (while mid-conversation and holding a cocktail) are the way to go. Not only are these small items adorable and look great set up on tables and passed around, but they are delicious and allow your guests to eat a wide variety of food. If you’re serving a heavy dinner after rounds of apps, your guests will likely not be too hungry. If they have heavy appetizers to take them throughout the night, they can try all different things and stop when they are too full (or continue for hours). As you can tell, I am all about a party filled with appetizers, and I’ve come across some incredible recipes and inspiration throughout my research. I can’t wait to try all of these.
