a glimpse

Such a perfect long weekend. How amazing it would be if every weekend consisted of 3 full days off. Mine was full of relaxation, catching up on TV and movies on the couch, reading, delicious meals, lots of wine, sunshine, and friends. I’ve been asked a lot to see pictures of the new apartment, which I haven’t gotten around to taking. Now that my boyfriend and I have purchased a new camera (for my blogging purposes and his work purposes), all I want to do is play with it. I still have a lot to learn, but in time I hope you’ll notice my pictures to be that much better (I hope)! Below you’ll find a glimpse into the new apartment. More pictures to come soon.

weekend review

Being my last weekend in NYC before the big move, it was far from a quiet one. Non stop dinners, brunches, time with friends, and my going away party. Such a fun weekend, but I can’t believe I move this week. Since I would much rather spend time with my friends over packing boxes (obviously), let’s just say I have a lot to do the next couple days in my apartment. Hope you all had fabulous weekends.

shake shake shake

One of my best friends has a love for salt and pepper shakers, and she is my inspiration for this post. Strange you may ask…not so much.  Salt and pepper shakers are a great collectible, great gift idea, and it can be fun to change it up from the standard types you may use every time you make dinner.  Let me take you on a mini journey through the land of salt and pepper shakers.
