a little bit of lace

I find myself wearing my lace tank over and over and over again. It is so versatile and I tend to wear it over other sleeveless tops, under shirts, and every which way. Every time I go to put it on I always wish I purchased it in every color the store offered at the time. I don’t own too many lace pieces, but this one top in particular I, quite literally, can’t get enough of. I wore it last week before a fun double date I went on. Since we were going to a casual, Mexican restaurant, I swapped out my heels for flats. Sometimes it’s nice to show a little bit of lace.

The Beginning - December 13, 2011

This post may not say too much, but it’s my favorite one since it was the start of it all.

…in a New York state of mind… – December 15, 2011

The necklace featured in this post will always be one of my favorites, and now it brings an even deeper meaning since I’ve moved from New York.

mmmm….macarons – January 18, 2012

I loved this interview with Taryn Garcia and I think her photos are beautiful. I think macarons are the prettiest dessert out there.

flowers, please! – January 30, 2012

Who doesn’t love flowers. Each of the bouquets in this post is more beautiful than the next.

giddy up! – February 24, 2012

A post inspired by the Rodeo and my move to Texas.

…in a New York state of mind…

A few months back, my mom and I came across what is currently my favorite necklace.  It’s not only on a long chain (which I love), but the pendant on the chain is just perfection.  The Lagos Sterling Silver Heart of New York necklace needs to be the next gift you buy for yourself! I just love it. Parts of different landmarks of New York cover the charm. Times Square, Grand Central Station, Radio City Music Hall, and a few other historic sites all make up the parts of this pendant.  It is such a fantastic and unique piece.  And, don’t worry, if you don’t live in New York – charms have also been created for Chicago, New Orleans, Beverly Hills, Philadelphia, Las Vegas, Seattle, and Texas.
