I absolutely love this Topshop Eyelash Lace Shell Top. It’s feminine, could be dressed up or down, and the lace neckline really sets it apart from a more basic blouse.
The Perfectly Imperfect Home is a book I’ve bought for various people as gifts. It’s a great book to have out on a table and it covers topics so many people enjoy reading about.
I find myself wearing my lace tank over and over and over again. It is so versatile and I tend to wear it over other sleeveless tops, under shirts, and every which way. Every time I go to put it on I always wish I purchased it in every color the store offered at the time. I don’t own too many lace pieces, but this one top in particular I, quite literally, can’t get enough of. I wore it last week before a fun double date I went on. Since we were going to a casual, Mexican restaurant, I swapped out my heels for flats. Sometimes it’s nice to show a little bit of lace.

Tomorrow is a bittersweet day for me. I have brunch with my entire group of friends from high school – all 12 of us. We have not all been together since probably our graduation day circa 2004. I can’t wait. I feel bad for the rest of the tables in the restaurant because it will be far from a quiet brunch.
And then tomorrow night is my going away party. I’m also so excited for that because who doesn’t love a party and especially with your closest friends. The bitter part of ‘bittersweet’ comes in because I have to say goodbye so soon. I’ve already said goodbye to a couple, a few more on Saturday night, and the rest Monday. Just crazy.
Back to one of the ‘sweet’ parts of all of this – brunching with friends. Brunch is my favorite meal and my favorite thing to do on the weekend. Brunch ensembles should be comfortable (but not frumpy), fashionable, and fun. You’re not going into the office – this is your time to dress as you wish.
