What I Wore: TV Segment

DSC_0185

If you follow me on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, you probably saw that I did a fun little TV segment with ABC’s Patricia Lopez at my apartment recently. The segment was all about turning your closet into cash, focusing on the company Tradesy (more coming on that soon). Steering away from white or black was easy for me (because as you know I love prints), so I decided on a Clover Canyon blouse from TOOTSIES, black pants, patent heels, and simple jewelry.

Puppy Love

I’m a sucker for dogs. I grew up with a dog in my house, and I beg my boyfriend for one all the time (he keeps saying no, but one day he’ll cave). When designer Jess Bolbach reached out to Anna and I about her new and fabulous bulldog tanks, I was instantly excited. The tank is not only beyond adorable, but it is the softest thing in my closet. I couldn’t wait to style it, and I decided on pairing it with a skirt from Club Monaco (that I’ve had for years, and still can’t get enough of), tights, a black leather jacket, and the Chloe + Isabel three row paillette graduated pendant necklace. The fabulous Anna of Fash Boulevard paired her tank with the most amazing black and white shorts, and the perfect black blazer. For more details on Anna’s look, make sure to head on over to her blog. Bulldogs have never been so chic. Have a great weekend!

winter blues and colorful hues

I know we’re in the heart of winter right now, but I’m craving color. I’ve said it before that I’m a color person. I have plenty of neutral shades in my closet, and of course, I have the necessary black pieces that I adore, but I do love color. When it’s cold and rainy out, I can’t help but get a case of the winter blues (and I know I’m down south so I really can’t complain that much about cold weather). Color instantly lifts my mood, and while it may be jacket and boot weather, I still throw in color any chance I get (hence the pink tweed blazer I wore to my birthday dinner on Monday night). Accessories are always an easy way to throw in that touch of color if you still want to keep the rest of your ensemble a more neutral, winter-friendly palette. I’ve rounded up some of my current favorite colorful accessories below.
