Today is my birthday, and I’m turning 27. It’s strange because when I was 21, thinking of 27 seemed so old to me and so far away, and now that it’s here I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be, and it doesn’t feel scary at all. I still can’t imagine turning thirty, but I know in three years I’ll feel comfortable with it. I’ve always been a huge birthday person, whether it’s mine or someone else’s. Matthew and I are having a joint birthday party later in the month (his birthday is two weeks after mine). Otherwise, I’ll be celebrating today and throughout the week/weekend with various meals and happy hours with family and friends, and I can’t wait. I hope you all have a great week.

Styling the Marcie Mini Shoulder Bag

In love with this bag. I think Chloe produces the most beautiful leather bags that are perfectly classy and elegant. The Marcie Mini Shoulder Bag is such a beautiful style that would pair so well with an abundance of outfits. I could see this bag with pants, chunky sweaters, dresses, casual, dressier, and everything in between. It’s such a great size (not too big, not too small) and the colors it comes in are incredible for Fall. The braid trim and gold hardware are a couple of the fabulous details of the Marcie. There really isn’t anything I don’t love about this gem.

six pack

I am having a rather sick obsession over some fabulous bags at the moment. The majority are out of my price range, but I can’t help but swoon. I can already envision so many different outfits with the six styles below. I can envision the shoes, the jewelry, the whole ensemble. Over the next couple weeks, I’ll be tackling these six beauties and playing ‘dress up’ with every single one. I’m looking forward to sharing how I would wear each of them, as well as hearing your feedback. Hope you all had incredible long weekends. Here’s to September!
