the desk nook (part 2)

As you may have read here, I wrote all about my desk nook that I would be getting in the new apartment in Houston. I have to say it’s absolutely my favorite feature. Since I work from home the majority of the time, I need an area that feels almost like a small office (as opposed to working at the kitchen table, which I did while living in New York). As much as I’m loving it, I need to reorganize it. I know I’ve only been here a little over three months, but something just isn’t working. It is not the largest space, but it is large enough to make into a great area. This past week I’ve been non-stop searching the Internet (thank goodness for Pinterest) to get some inspiration on how to change things up. I then spent quite some time at Michaels yesterday, which definitely may be the happiest place on earth, to get even more inspiration (I love good DIY projects). I wanted to share my six favorite desk and office images that have been helping me figure out exactly what I want.
