Mother’s Day: DIY

Mother’s Day is fast approaching, and everyone is trying to figure out what to get their mom for this beloved holiday. If you’re like me, you’ve gotten your mom enough candles, picture frames, spa gift certificates, and perfumes to last her multiple lifetimes. This year, I decided to go a different route. I considered DIY ideas (below), which I totally love the thought of, but I ended up deciding on a photo canvas. It’s personal, decorative, and something she’ll have forever. Later today, once the TV segment I filmed last week goes live, I will share it with you, and all the details on this gift idea. For the time being, here are some great DIY ideas that are inexpensive, fun to make, and extremely thoughtful.

Jul’s Gems

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Jul’s Gems post, so I’m excited to share with you today some things that have been catching my eye lately.

Few things would make me happier than a closet and dressing area like this one.

The next time I have a party, I’d love to give something like this away as the favor.

Popping Up

pop up shop 3

I’ve always loved entertaining. Whether it’s a birthday party, a dinner party, or just a casual night of wine and cheese with friends, entertaining and being a hostess have always been favorite pastimes of mine. I recently mentioned how I’m now working with Chloe + Isabel, and this past weekend I hosted my first pop up shop. It was a fun afternoon of fabulous jewelry and friends (I also sold my FPTP greeting cards at the event). I wanted to share some pictures with you from the day, and I hope you all enjoy.
